If you’ve looked over my work, you know what I do is different. I’m not setting formal portraits or dozens of group shots. I’m looking endlessly for those moments that express emotion. Moments of joy, delight, interest and yes, sadness. I will do my best to avoid those images where your guests are smiling into the camera.
If you live in fear of time away from the happiest day of your life in order to get those “must have” shots, then I think you’ll find my approach refreshing. If you are distressed by images that are artificially lit, show little feeling and leave you with spots in your vision due to the frequency of being flashed, you’d likely feel much more comfortable with me as your photographer. There is a decent chance you won’t notice me on your special day. Your guests may well think I’m another guest running around with a camera. And, that suits me fine.
