As with many others, this wedding was about a year late. Carson and Sam had gotten married a year earlier in Dallas Texas but only had a small reception. But they certainly made up for that on this day in October. The location was the Round Hill Club in Greenwich Connecticut.
The bride’s mother told me that the boom is going to be lavender. The main room of the party was bathed in lavender light. This was a contrast to the soft early autumn colors of southern New England. This all started as a rather conservative affair. It took a sharp left turn when all of a sudden bride and groom and most of the guests return to the room wearing iridescent metallic wigs and LED headgear. And props must be paid to one of the most outstanding bands, wedding or not, that I’ve ever seen perform.
